Deputy Head Analytics and Insights

Work Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of analytical projects.

    Build compelling pitch/sales decks based on new business requests.
  • Identify opportunities to develop forecasts, statistical models, segmentation schemes, and data-driven analyses to drive marketing efforts around conversion.
  • Partner with the Technology and Product teams to deliver a stable and highly available reporting platform.
  • Oversee all aspects of analytics and business intelligence projects.
  • Oversee team’s development and maintenance of reports, databases and KPI dashboards.
  • Train and supervise Analytics team and ensure that team meets the reporting and analytical needs of clients.

Leadership Responsibilities:
  • Delegates work appropriately to maximize team efficiency.
  • Commits to personal learning and growth.
  • Leads direct reports and/or cross-capability team toward positive outcomes.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tools including Meta Ads, Google Ads, Google Marketing Platform, Comscore CRM communications measurement planning and performance analysis.
  • Knowledge of SQL and R and if possible Python.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication including presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated project, and client management expertise.
  • Advanced knowledge of marketing/advertising testing principles.
  • Experience with major personalization tools, such as Optimizely, Google Optimize.
  • Experience in Data Visualization with tools such as Tableau; Google Data Studio.
  • Expert skills in Excel functions: Pivots, advanced formulas/macros, multi-spreadsheet links and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with major digital analytics tools, such as: Doubleclick, Atlas, Omniture, Coremetrics, Webtrends, Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics; SimilarWeb.
  • Experience with social listening tools, such as, Crimson Hexagon and Sprinklr.
  • 7 years of experience in a web analytics focused role for digital marketing.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and keep supervisors informed.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to communicate in clear and concise terms.
  • Ability to develop clear, unique and precise data analyses.
