Executive, Accounts Payable [Singapore]


 

Position

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute AP activities of assigned country to ensure that overall delivery of services is within agreed KPIs and SLAs.

  • Responsible for timely and accurate financial and analytical reports to Manager, AP.

  • Responsible for managing key stakeholders and internal customers including cluster country FDs, FP&A teams, purchasing function, internal control teams, external vendors, external auditors etc.

  • Responsible for processing vendor invoices, inter-company invoices and T&E claims, ensuring they are properly validated in compliance to company policies.

  • Execute payment run activities and ensure control policies and procedures and performed on a timely basis. This will include preparing payment supporting documents for payment authorization and ensure they approvers action as per agreed timelines.

  • Manage and handle vendor enquires and disputes tactfully.

  • Ensure regular review and smooth and timely closing of accounts monthly, including identifying any unusual transactions and movements of account balances.

  • Ensure that good internal controls and AP practice are met in accordance with group policies.

  • Actively participate in digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives which may involve activities such as defining requirements, change impact assessment and UAT.

RCoE
Our Asia Pacific region has newly created the Regional Centre of Excellence (RCoE) team in delivering our Shaping Change promises. Reporting to Regional CoE Director, this role of RCoE will be responsible for driving operational excellence within the Finance function and adding values to processes and services through automation, simplification and innovation. Additional information

  • Relevant Finance and Accounting experience gained from companies with organizational complexity and multicultural business environment will be preferred.

  • Candidates with AP experience will be preferred.

  • Possessing industry experience in Wine & Spirits, FMCG, Consumer or Luxury Goods will be at an advantage.

  • Detail-oriented, independent, and analytical with good problem-solving skills.
