Job Description

MŌ TĒNEI TŪRANGA MAHI - ABOUT THE ROLE

Family Planning are looking for an open minded, empathetic and professional Medical Receptionist to join our Hamilton Clinic. This is a part time role and offers 16 hours of work each week, worked Wednesday 8.45am - 5.15pm, Thursday 8.45am - 5.15pm and a 1:4 rostered Satursday shift from 9.00am - 1.00pm.

Our Medical Receptionists begin and conclude the client experience. They make our clients feel welcome, safe and respected from the moment they enter our clinics to the moment they leave. Our Medical Receptionists are warm, empathetic and understand the significance of client confidentiality.

We would love to consider you for the role if you have:

  • Strong interpersonal skills both in person and on the phone.
  • An ability to handle and balance a fast-paced work environment.
  • Alignment with our Kaupapa and an interest in diversity, inclusion and equity.
  • Punctual, reliable and flexible.
  • Previous reception experience would be an advantage.
